FabricLive: a lotta CDs

Some of the classic Fabric mix CDs I absolutely rinsed the shit out of until the laser wore a groove in to the CD, e.g. Fabio or Marcus Intalex, some I have never listened to even once since they came out back when I was young and me knees worked. So, as an act of supreme nostalgia, I'm going to listen to them all in order and then ramble a bit.

I had to actually go and look up the definition of what the FabricLive series even was - my dim recollection was "bass music", which is why it had a bunch of dnb, but then what is Unkle doing there? Wikipedia reckons:

The albums in this series generally feature music in the UK bass, drum & bass, grime, and hip hop genres.

which is basically what Pitchfork says:

reflecting divergent strains of bass music showcased at the club on Friday nights

So I guess what they really mean is "all the stuff Fabric would host but isn't techno or house", because that's what Saturday and the Fabric series is for.
