fluxcd and forgejo

I'd bounced off fluxcd a few times since the default getting started guide is all about Github, and I couldn't be arsed with that. Today I happened upon their gitea guide, which is great, and even mentions forgejo, but fails to tell one how to use an actual specific forgejo instance! The magic flag is --hostname=, which needs to be just the bare hostname of the instance that the provided token works on.
